hey guys have just put on a kkr 430 onto me rb. just wondering what people do with there dump pipes. it has a shitty little outlet on rear housing looks like it would restrict it a fair bit.thinking of cutting and shutting it and making a dump. also any ideas on how to block of water lines, this is only oil cooled, was gonna cut water lines. dont really want to. might weld bottom off banjo bolts shut.

The turbo won't flow enough hp for the dump to be a restriction... don't bother re-making somthing.

I've blown 3 kkr430's on 2 different rb20's... both dead. Word of warning, keep the shaft speed slow and the egt's down!

Loop the water lines together with some hose.

Cheers

Justin

Yes you will need to loop it, you can't just block it off, one part of the water line comes from the plenum into the turbo (well that's RB25). As stated, you will need to loop it.

What power are you aiming for? I would suggest a RB25 Series I turbo if you just want more grunt, that KKR430 would be a super lag monster.
