Who the f*** pays for a car before they've even seen it...guy deserved to lose his money, just sucks that the person who gets it is a scammer.

Before you go baiting, bear in mind that the scammers in the other thread probably just stole the pics, and this guy is probably the real owner (going on the price it's being advertised for).

I had the same thing happen to me - someone posed as an interested buyer, asked me for more info, then used it to try and scam others.

hey guys,

cant remember who it was looking for this car but i came across it on carsale, the bloke on here bought it but was scammed

i would say that the ad above is real, not a scam, so i wouldnt go sending fake emails and being a prick.

If you havent noticed, every scam on carsales will never have their contact details. You will always have to email them.

The contact details on the ad above are present, so i'd say it's their car ;)

Not entirely true. I found a scam motorbike for sale (was an obvious scam) and there was a phone number to call. However the phone number was for some one entirely different who has been getting dozens of calls about a R6 lol. The scammer did email me a couple of times though.

ah well there you go.

I've been looking for a cheap daily for a while now, and the amount of scams I've come across is really surprising. I'll find this car at a good price, i'm like sweet, i'll give em a call, and............. no number :(
