Rb20Det Engine With Rb25 Box?

Hi guys,

I've been given a RB20DET AWD Engine and I've got a RB25 GTS-4 AWD Gearbox, was wondering if these will bolt up or if any modifications need to be made, can I still use my heavy duty clutch from my current engine on the RB20?

Also looking around it is hard to find an RB20 Forward Facing Plenum, I've heard the Exhaust side of the engine is the same as RB25 but intake side isn't, is this correct? Can anyone suggest where I can get a RB20 Forward Facing Plenum? Also will an RB25 Fuel Rail/Injectors bolt on to the RB20 Plenum or would they need to match an RB20 as well?

motor and box will botl up and you will be able to use same clutch

Quite a bit of work - you'll have to modify the sump for 2wd and the g/box to get rid of the transfer case. Can you not sell them (sell the g/box in the Stagea forum!) and just buy an RB25DET?

I've been given the engine thats the only reason I'm looking into parts needed and if its going to be a pain in the ass, otherwise I'm still looking at an RB25DET Neo motor from a Stagea which I know would be the better option but $1500 extra which I could spend elsewhere cause I'm not after massive power, looking around 250kws only.

Becasue you haven't said you have an awd car - you are listed as having a GTS.
