Hey Zaver,is your car manual or automatic transmission ? It seems very powerful on the pictures,do you use it for drifting ?

How much power and torque does it makes at the moment ?

Hey,can anyone help me with what should I do or install in my R34 to get more power, torque and more responsive acceleration ?

Right now I think it makes about 230kWs and around 380Nm torque (maybe) at the wheels and does 0-100 in around 6 seconds flat.

I want to make it as powerful as it can,I know it's gonna cost alot but yeah.

And does anyone know what's the maximum power you can get out of an RB25DET NEO engine ?

Thanks !

Okay, what's the best website or where's the best workshop to buy the parts from ?

And I forgot to tell you that I'm running 11PSI on the stock turbo.

You would have at most 180-190kw with stock turbo on 11psi, someone is pulling your leg.

If you want more power then do the usual things, computer, injectors and then get the appropriate turbo for your power levels, highflow will bolt on and make a reliable 250kw fairly easily. If you want above that then you are going to need to get more serious.

Haha really ? I'm not, just bought the car and the previous owner it makes about 220kWs at the wheels.

Okay, what should I do to start with ? And where to buy the parts from, what brand or kind, which type ?

Thanks

and other supporting mods my tuner thinks of befor i have to do a full rebuild

( i just sold my Xr6 turbo so i have some spending money :)

WITH THESE MODS WHERE DO PEOPLE THINK MY POWER OUTPUT WILL BE AT?

Well then if you want to do rims and suspensions first, i suggest that you go for some good 18" Jap wheels because 19's cost more and the tires are also pretty expensive for them, Go check out the business trader section for rims they have some good deals there, I personally like the Rota Rims..

And for suspensions i would suggest you go coilovers its the best bang for ur buck for cornering and handling, these are good coilovers and are pretty reasonably priced- http://www.justjap.c...623&cat=&page=1

I dont trust your advice personally... youve suggested 300-320 on stock internals, you've recommended BC coilovers as being good bang for buck, and said 18s are better than 19s purely because of tyre cost...

all of which I think is just crap...

i have to say that 18's are better than 19's for a few reasons, but cost of rubber is defiantly one of them :)

and yes it sounds like a bearing went on vacation, will know for sure soon :)

The HKS GT-RS actuator is a 1 bar one so the lowest you will be able to run is around 14psi give or take. (currently mine is running on the lowest boost I can run and it is about 0.8-0.9bar). On that sort of boost pressure as long as everything else is up to the job you should see around 220-240rwkw dependent on dyno.

Well i only suggested 300-320 is because most people want to push their engine's, and people are running 300kw engine's safely as i have spoken to some tuner's, thats if they aren't pushing it hard all the time, As he has said he will be using it for the street, BC coilovers is because he just wanted to put lowered springs and from that it would be a better step to upgrade to coilovers, I didn't say they are the best, but he will be using his Car again for the street, i have Tein super street coilovers and would have recommended him that but it costs $2200 and im not sure if that would be in his budget, Yea well again 18's is because its lighter than 19's and he occasionally would like to go to the track and when he has to buy tires for his 19" rims for the track its definitely going to hurt his wallet..

If you have a better solution please enlighten me as well as him, Dont just say that its "Crap", Remember he is on a budget like most of us, maybe u can afford to blow crazy amounts of money on ur car, not everyone can..

Hey buddy, my car is manual.. I use my car on the streets but occasionally go drifting and to the circuit, i like to keep my car as a all rounder where i can use it on the street as well as the track.. My car is mostly stock apart from the basic mods that even you have and has 200kw's.. Im not sure on the torque.. In my other thread iv listed out my mods and the mods im planning on getting to make more power, you can check it out as even im spending my money in the budgeted but right way.. You can choose to follow the mods im going or do it ur way.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/350133-need-advice-on-build/

I thought it was reasonable advice personally. 18s ARE better than 19s lol, like you said, cheaper rubber, lighter and almost always better performance.

The main goal of the HKS GTRS is response, if you have a look through the dyno thread there arent many making any more than 250rwkw but they do provide great response.

Another option is the HKS 2835 Pro S, slightly reduced response and capability for 280-290rwkw. IMO a better overall turbo for the RB25, but if response is your main goal go the GTRS.

wen im done with all my mods if it makes 250rwkw ill be happy as a pig in shit i dont want i dyno buster or anythink stupid just a fun toy with grate response to play with

I just found out today because my car is an automatic,it'd cost around $3,500.00 to remap or install the new piggyback ECU or something ? Not really sure.

What piggy back ecu? Nistune fitted and tuned for around $1,000 is fine on an auto.

Your automatic is controlled via the nissan ecu. The best way is to use Nistune as suggested above as the gearbox settings can be tuned directly. Otherwise if you get another ecu you will need a separate gearbox controller or something??

Summary get a nistune!

Check out the places in Perth that use Nistune:
