Rb25Det Ecu In Rb25De+T

hey guys, just wondering if a RB25DET ECU will fit in a RB25DE+T and should i swap the ecu over or get a GReddy E-Manage? what do you guys reckon? and is there anything else i should get/ know?

yeah it will work, i used to run RB20det ECU in my DE+T cefiro... worked a treat..

but - if you have the money lieing around - go greddy Emanage

is it hard to swap over the ECU yourself?

and do them up and plug things in??

if you've done a turbo converions all by yourself, then this will be a walk in the park

AFAIK the ECU is located in the passenger side underneath the floor

Awesome thanks alot guys, i was looking in the engine bay for the ECU but i couldnt find it LOL! im stupid, but yeahh.

What would you guys recommend but? RB25DET ECU or something like a GReddy E-Manage ? or Haltech whatever that is

i found the ECU but i cant seem to pull the cover off lol, there a clip of some sort on the top left, ill keep trying, dont want to snap it

nvm, pulled the rubber out and had a look it was the same clip as the bottom one so i yanked it out lol.

okay so say i plug in a rb25det ECU in my rb25de and i turbo it, i'd still need to connect the missing turbo wires true? e.g turbine sensor signal and turbo pressure singnal?

is this the GReddy emanage for r34 yeah? http://www.greddy.com/products/electronics/e-manage/filter:make:e-Manage/

Might just buy the emanage it would be less hassle and more efficient?

emanage is a piggy back.

if u get the stock ecu, then you dont have room for tuning unless u get a nistune installed.

eitherway works

r34 gtt ecu = $150

+ nistune & tune = $900

= $1050~

Emanage blue + harnesses = $300

+ $150 to install

+ $500 to tune

= $950 approx ~

or go one better and get an emanage ultimate but this is more expensive.

Emanage is $379 online on GReddy website. should i try local tuning places for a Emanage and tune?

that does not include the ignition & timing harness tho?

if it does then thats a good price, otherwise try ebay or browse these forums as they come up regularly

i see that you're in melb, visit trent @ status/chequered tuning, he's a gun with the emanages in melb
