without mechanical sympathy, they dont last at factory power levels. With mechanical sympathy and careful shifting ect ect, ive personally seen nicks R with 490whp and its the stock box, been in there for 4 years now

mechanical sympathy goes a long way, so does a sprung clutch. I have about 400rwkw and stock box with single organic sprung clutch, no issues yet, been a year and a half at that power level and i do like using it.....

ive got 300awkw, my box has been through 100s of launchs, dumping the clutch between gear changes, its really had a trashing, ive got a ORC solid centre twin plate too.

we will see how long she lasts once my new motor is built. hehe

How long is a piece of string?

There is no set figure, same as a stock motor being modified.

If you don't want it to break, be nice to it but don't expect it to last forever.

It's almost a 20yo gearbox, unknown condition etc etc.

Seen plenty die in the 300-400rwkw region, usually stripping 3rd
