Cleaning out my garage and have got the following bits and pieces looking to sell.

I'm posting them up for sale on eBay later this evening as well but if you're not into the eBay thing then I'll accept the sale of an item through this for sale thread.

R34 NEO Turbocharger unit in usable, good condition with minimal shaft play. Perfect for high-flowing! Removed from a 84,000km odometer vehicle, to the best of my knowledge it's only run standard boost. Also comes with an assortment of turbo gaskets as well. Perfect upgrade for R32 or R33 on its own, suitable direct replacement unit for an R34 obviously and C34 Stagea's.

Hey How many kw's can the Exedy clutch handle??

Hi Zaver, I'm not 100% certain on the power rating for this clutch as I only intended to replace my old heavy duty unit with this one without taking additional power output into consideration, I'm sure the heavy duty can handle a street-able amount of power, if it were my guess i'd probably say 250-270rwkw to have a reliable clutch life but again I can't say for sure.

You might have better luck asking around the forum for the answer since I never really looked into it.

Thanks.

How much are u looking at selling it for?

I'm open to offers Zaver, you'd be looking at a bit over $800 for the lot if you were buying it elsewhere individually. Give me an idea of what you're happy to pay for the lot and I'll think it over.

If the offer is reasonable then I can remove it from eBay and sell it to you privately.

Ok, well upon reading the rules I can't understand where and what i've done wrong in my listing besides:

1) not mentioning a price on the items which I clearly stated I have no idea what the value of the items are worth, if thats a major problem then I'll just throw some figures out there.

R34 Turbo: $400 + $25 freight

Clutch Kit: $600 + $25 freight

Varex Muffler: $300 + $25 freight

Pioneer Head Unit: $250 + $20 freight

I'm open to offers for what I've listed as stated before, I don't know what any of what I've mentioned is worth so genuine, reasonable offers are considered.

2) I don't carry a personal mobile phone, I only carry a work issued and work-only contact phone so I'm not prepared to give this number out for chit-chat about what I'm selling, if in doubt then look elsewhere simple as that, but all enquiries are answered to with tangible, actual correspondence rather than hear-say over the phone.

3) I'm aware this isn't eBay by all means, but I only opened this thread for the information of SAU's members without any further gain, if this is such a problem then cheerfully lock, delete this thread whatever SAU's moderators feel is necessary. I've got the right to advertise what I'm selling through eBay but obviously SAU takes offence to this kind of trading to protect its own interests. I've traded for years on eBay without a single complaint and if thats not good enough then don't bother enquiring. This thread was opened purely with the intent to give SAU members (who would obviously be the only parties interested in what I'm selling anyway) an opportunity to acquire what I'm selling. I said before, if the offer is reasonable then I will remove the listing from eBay and accept the offer via SAU. This gives SAU members the priority in terms of what is advertised and not eBay.

But otherwise, thanks to those who genuinely show interest in what i've advertised.

Actually mate, I'm quite aware of what I'm selling but you obviously don't understand the concept of item worth. If I didn't know what I was selling I'd be listing the lot as miscellaneous and cheap arses would try flogging it off for ridiculous low-ball offers.

So if your done with being high-horse admin for the day and don't have any further enquiry with what I'm selling then I'm done discussing the issue with you further. And if you're that offended by my for sale thread then by all means delete the entire thing.

you obviously don't understand the concept of item worth.

Actually given you couldn't provide pricing - I'd say that it was you who didn't understand the concept.

Follow the rules next time or your threads will be locked.

Ash you seem to keep coming back for more and every time you're making yourself look more an idiot so unless your interested in what I've got for sale, next time I have to read a post from you on my for sale thread thats got nothing to do with an enquiry I'll be making a complaint with the relevant people of SAU and thats final.

Right now your borderline harassing me about trivial nothing and I had no problem with altering the listing to conform with the rules being it my first sale post, but your attitude about the entire thing so far has been nothing short disgusting and reeks of poor management and it must make for one unique character that I'm thankful I haven't got to deal with on a personal basis.

And don't worry I wont bother advertising anything on SAU after this because I don't appreciate the persecution on a public forum over something as ridiculous as this.

So I trust we're done on the matter, if theres anything left needing attending to then I'm happy to comply otherwise this back and forth dispute isn't doing any justice for the admins reputation of this forum.

    • A little follow up here on the ceramic coating.  We've had storms galore here and I've done a few ks, enough to gross them up  Consensus is that they didn't get as dirty as usual, the coating definitely repelled a little of the dirt and I think they kinda snowball. They get a little dirty and then they get dirty faster which makes sense. Cleaning them regularly would allow them to protect better.  Cleaning was a breeze. I tried first to just hose them off which, unsurprisingly, did nothing. But, making the wheels wet and then just wiping them over with a used but clean microfibre cloth was all that was required. I didn't need any cleaner at all, just water and a cloth. The wheels look amazing again.
    • Gave her a nice wash today and took extra time to clean off the tree sap and tar and crap. We have a usable garage now so she'll stay cleaner longer. Took a few snaps in some nice light afterwards.
    • OK, solid mount Z1 diff brace is in, pretty straightforward, it picks up 3 diff hat bolts and ties them to 2 support bolts on the subframe. Pretty sure someone else on here said they had reduced axle tramp with this but mine was already pretty good for smooth wheelspin, and still is....will see you this goes over time and whether I end up with a broken rear diff hat
    • Ah yes, but the part in my hand was actually painted and fitted by me! I knew any front lip was likely to be sacrificial but I've had to fix it twice already... by the time I buy a fibreglass fixing kit, sort out sandpaper blocks, buy some fibreglass filler, body bog, spend the time and effort for a 'Greg' result... a new one being $290 seems like it's the better way to go and spray that with bedliner/raptor coat and we're all pretty again.. Would have preferred it last more than a month though. Them's the breaks I suppose.
    • I find it funny that the USA is finding out all this really really weird stuff, and people from the USA are coming here treating it like gospel, yet, all the info on solving those issues is here on these forums for the last 15 odd years... Also, I know how much heat it takes to ignite the hood lining of an R33 skyline. I worked it out myself... It also took a LOT of time, and heat for it to do it... Big single, and I needed to drive the car, so retarded the timing off to "protect it". Yeah, that was a bad move for cruising on a freeway with only 15 degrees of timing on it. That was a lesson I learned around 2009. So that's over 15 odd years ago. Aligning water and oil, that's identical for any turbo engine, it's not Japanese specific. If a shop doesn't know how to make sure the core is rotated the right way, then they shouldn't be touching any turbo engine. That's not a matter of "We haven't had Skylines for that long here"...
