Help Needed With Ecu

Hey guys,

I've got a 1995 Nissan Skyline GTS-4, I'm looking at buying a 1999 RB25DET Engine from a Stagea just wondering what factory ECU I'd have to run, eg. R33 GTST being mines a Series 1, R34 GTT as its a Neo Engine...??

Make life much easier if you can get the Stagea loom and ecu that went with the motor. Hopefully you have a manual.

Thanks mate, got an email from Chequered Tuning saying I can run Neo Loom and ECU from what was on the engine originally or R33 GTR PFC modified for it to work.

I've been told its all parts required to drop in the engine so I'm guessing thats including loom/ecu

The 99 stagea has the RB25DET neo and the ecu from that series stagea has the same pinouts as the R34 GT-t (excluding the traction control pin 51...unless it is one of the 2WD versions).

On the cost side you would need the loom, ecu and Nistune board to be in a similar position to getting the R33GTR PFC modified and wired up.

It depends on price but a either of the options from Chequered will be a good thing.
