Hey All,

Slowly getting the AE86's engine swap under way and I will need to move the clutch master cylinder off the fire wall as it will hit the right hand bank of the engine, after much faffling about with KE70 clutch pedals and stand alone boxes form tilton and the likes I have figured that the simplest way to do this would be with a pull type master cylinder, while i have found that AP racing make one its supposed to be approx $500 i also saw that some skylines may use a pull type cylinder.

Is this true?

If so what models use this and if any one has/can get me a part number or pictures of it that would be appreciated as ill be asking wreckers for the parts and Ive found they tend to grab what ever is generally closest thing that may do what Ive asked for.

Cheers

I take it you are talking about the master cylinder and not the slave cylinder which is used to disengage the clutch by either pull or pull action

If it's the master cylinder and space is an issue you get whatever does the job

Late R32 GTR, R33 GTR, R34 GTT and R34 GTR are all "pull" type clutches but the difference is in the slave cylinder (pull on the fork as opposed to pushing), not at the master cylinder.
