Been looking for an R33 GTR and came across this one on car sales : Here

It's only $8,800 and doesn't state any problems on the listing. I've sent an email off to the seller for his contact details to inspect the car but I'm yet to receive the details.

Has anyone seen this car before? Or know why it's so cheap? Or maybe it's a typing error

Someone after a quick sale will shave a grand or two off the price of what most are going for. Someone after your cash will halve it :)

Excuse the ignorance but how do they intend to scam someone in this case?

Surely people aren't paying online before seeing the car or something...

Oh yes they are...no matter how stupid a scam may seem there's always someone in the world stupid enough to fall for it :(

How they come across / save the money in the first place is beyond me...

Confirmed to be a scam :)

Email from scammer:

Hi and sorry for my late reply,

I confirm that the car is immaculate technically and aesthetically speaking.

There is no outstanding finance on the car, also the car comes with a full service history and RWC.

The last price, including door to door delivery, is $8800 .

I love this car and I am very upset at having to sell it.

It has served me well but I just moved to High Wycombe, WA and I can't afford to keep it and I need the money fast so I can pay off some debts.

The car was advertised on eBay as well and I will run the transaction only under their terms and conditions for our own protection.

We will use eBay Buyer Protection Program (BPP) which will hold the payment until you receive the car.

Your funds will be 100% insured by eBay.

You will have 5 days inspection period, so you'll be able to see and inspect the car before buying it.

If you don't like the car after inspection or is not as I've describe it, you can reject the deal.

If you need more information regarding the transaction just visit the following web page from eBay 's website :

http://ebay-australia-bpp.center-au.biz//Buyer-Protection-Program/OVERVIEW/QQ6577457745784

If you are interested in this car please provide me the following details in order to start the transaction through eBay :

-Your Full Name and Shipping Address

-Your eBay ID

-Any negative feedback and if so .... for what reason .

Kind regards,

Dianne Sullivan

And an email from carsales :)
