I know the RSM can be wired up to be in series between the speedo speed output and the ECU.

It can be used to de limit the car if you want.

My question is does the 'speed pulse adjust' function change the speed signal going on to the ECU, or can it be done with other settings.

Or does the RSM just dumbly send the speed signal on to the ECU from the speedo. I know it can de limit so it can't be too dumb!

I need to convert my speedo dials to mph (I'm in the UK) but when you do this it seems the ECU receives a 50% slower speed frequency signal...potentially confusing the HICAS, power steering, ABS etc.

I was hoping I can recondition the signal with the RSM back to the correct speed.

ive got the rsm in my car and my understanding is it only caps the speed signal when you set it to

it uses the g-sensors for lateral correction to pickup wheel spin and also you enter car weight as well

imho i dont think it will bend the speed signal, but just cap when you tell it to

Do you know what the 'speed pulse adjust' function does? It must change the speed the RSM is showing at least? I'm hoping it changes the output to the ECU also???
