the synchros were crunching but Redline oil was used and seems to have eliminated the problem.. seems to be a common problem with lines (the crunching that is)

and the suspension was old so it was swapped

As far as I am aware the car has also been in a accident of some sorts recently. I dont know the full details but I would speak to bambam privately about it. Before anyone flames me for it I think its only fair as manual did ask for the history on this vehicle.

Currently yes - but I am hoping to put those plates onto a Black line in the near future!!

I believe we cruised together at one stage - if you are part of the RICE guys!!

Check out Just Car Insurance - they insure just about anybody. I just got a payout from them cos I wrote off my line - they are really good.

Insurance Broker is the way to go ...... i checked out Just Car n Famous ...... $2.8K i dont think so ..... went thru insurance broker got fully comprehensive for less than what i pay on my parents policy. Funny thing is the insurance company they signed me with CGU i rang them an hour before the Brokers rang them and they said they dont insure imports ...... so going thru a broker definately will open up doors.

Cheers for the heads up on the insurance - already done - got a quote from just cars for $1850 full comp with all mods listed (bit of an excess - but I can cover that if need be)

always helps having a 40% NCB

Oh - and i check Bam's car in about and hour!!
