Avcr Help/ Engine Check

I have just taken it for a quick drive and when it revs hard the engine check light is flashing, does anybody have any ideas?

the engine check light is still comming up at about 3800rpm onwards at full throttle.

All this after I install FMIC, AVCR and Power FC.

Any ideas?

I just took my car for a drive with the stock ecu and the engine check light didn't come on at full trottle/ full boost. I reckon that the Power Fc is causing detonation (the Power FC has not yet been tuned and is still factory set).

If you have the Hand Commander you can see which item (AFM/Knock/Inj Duty) is causing the light to come on (the number of flashes tells you which item and you can check the peak numbers in Monitor).

It just keeps flashing orange flat out until I take my foot of the accelerator.

and yes I do have the commander

If you got to 4 channel monitor and select AFM Voltage, Knock, Inj Duty and anything else (mines water temp) and select Peak hold (press right) then take it for a blast until the light flicks on. Pull over and check the Peak figures to see if they're higher than -

AFM - 5.0V (5000 mV)

Inj Duty - 95%

Knock - over 60

which ever ones are above those limit's is the problem. If you increased boost it could be all 3 if your unlucky

knock is actually 89 i think it was.

cant wait to get it tuned.
