Help! - Cant Find What Year My Gtr Is?

hi guys,

need some help. im looking at a gtr for sale. owner says its a 92 but on the rego papers its listed as an 89. how do i find out what year the car is? there is no plate stating what year it is in the engine bay.

last 6 digits of vin number is 001045 if that helps?

Never buy a GTR unless you take a mechanic whos knows the R too!
