Nismo N1 Versus T517Z's On Rb30Dett

Hey guys,

I am currently running early 32 Nismo N1 turbo's on my rb30dett. Yes they are a dog of a turbo, but on the 30 with some cam gear adjustment are coming on reasonably well.

Now I have the opportunity to swap them for rebuilt t517'z. I know both turbo's are 360 thrust (270's were replaced on the N1's on rebuild). Is it worth my time and effort swapping them over? is the t517z much better over the N1's?

I am currently running 20psi on the Nismo's.

I was going to go down the -5 route, and I might still yet, but the t517z would essentially cost me nothing to swap over.

dont even bother, just go the -5s and save yourself the hassle

Both are around the same level of "bad" as each other.

T517Z's will not compete with -5's in regards to response, but they will make power.... eventually.....
