Hey guys,

I wasnt sure where to ask this so i thought i would post it up here and see if anyone knew what was going on.

Lately when i start my car somtimes the traction control light, slip light and engine light will all light up and the car wont be running right. it sounds more rumbly at idle and reving and just doesnt feel right, i turn the car back off and start it up again and it will be fine? Not really sure whats going on. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for any help.

get nissan consult or one of the clones and check for error codes from the stock ECU

all of the systems rely on the TPS working and it may be intermittently going out of range

when it does, a number of systems can fail, like the ones you mentioned

i get this on my 33 sometimes, fix is to turn off car, pump accel pedal a few times (open/close throttle body) and restart and its fine

its likely the TPS sensor may be dirty, loose or starting to fail. check consult for real time diag

Lol I was bout to go n post the very same thing. I was thinking that it was either faulty dash or coilpacks. I thought it was the dash cos when all three light up I find that when i try turning traction on/off the lights all stay on. I also stopped past my mechanic who plugged into my computer n found nothing wrong.

I do find this problem occurs randomly, but used to occur more when low on fuel. However my car has never run rough or anything.

Thanks for all the replies guys, It's abit annoying just because i actually only replaced the coilpacks afew weeks ago. I shoulda gotten the splitfires
