HAS ANY ONE HARD WIRED UP A pIVOT SHIFT LAMP X IN A R33?

I have just bought a pivot shift light and it plugs into the

Cigerate lighter but I want to hard wire it into my car. has anyone done this to there R33?

if so whats the best why of doing it?

I have one of these also, but dont think u can hard wire it in anywhere cause it uses voltage to set the rpm point, so no matter where u wire it in it wont be as accurate as one which uses the actua rpm from ecu.

plug into cigi lighter, use left knob to change shift point and right to change brightness of flash. U dont need instructions with something so simple

have not actuallt fitted a pivot, but have installed a spitfire one and can not imagine too much of a difference.

hmm why not wire it up via a relay switching from the ON position on the Key barrel and then tap into a permenant source of power. i can't imagine that there is anything special about the power source the ciggy lighter uses.

just remember to use a fuse where you tap into the permenant power source.
