You could do that, but you'll smell oil vapours all day, not great in summer.

I would personally, I would hook up in series with the passenger cam cover to the turbo intake pipe. This way, when the car is off vacuum and into +ve pressure the PCV will shut and the intake will assist with the "suction" of the oil vapours into the catch can. For this to work effectively, I would personally fill up the catch can with stainless still wool/mesh.

(Yes it's a 25, but the principle is the same)

What you are proposing is illegal because it vents fumes to atmosphere. The alternate solution keeps the system sealed and recycles all gasses / fumes.
