V35 Gt-8 Rear Muffler

When I reved the engine from 500 rpm to 5500 rpm , the exhaust gas only comes out from one hole not both , does anyone knows about this ?

Must be like the M35's, so I only found out recently.

There's a valve of sorts in there that supposedly opens when enough exhaust gas pressure occurs. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong....

that is correct.

rev it hard enough and the 2nd valve will open up, its only spring loaded. this is assuming its not rusted shut.
