Will RB20 fit in GTR shell ?

Will a RB20 bolt into a R32 GTR shell using factory parts? Need to do it for red tape bull#$@@ . It will be inspected by transport department. RB26 will be going back in after.

you might find more problems putting another engine type in a GTR. The car has compliance for a RB26 not a RB20....I cannot think why you would want to do this.

May be if you elaborate further there may be other options.

I have a damaged GTS-t and can get a GTR shell I would like to repair with my GTs-t parts, Then have the option of puting in the RB26.

put chassis number on a gts of the same colour as your gtr... go register it or whatever, when finished swap chassis numbers again.

You'd have to see if you could adapt the sump/4wd system to the rb20 you have. Obviously RB20's work with the 4wd (gts4) but exactly what is needed to be done to make it fit a gtr, and have the engine bay neat and tidy, could be a whole other story.

You could put a CA18DET in there if you wanted, just depends on how much time money and skill you put in.

How bad is the damage?

Why dont you repair the gtst eg use everything off the gtr bolt on the gaurds cut out rear gaurds and anything else you need?

As long as this gtr shell is legitamate.
