theres a spot that seems to collect alot of mud and create rust on alot of cars

bottom of the fender (front qtr panels) on the door side where the mudflap/pod is - if you undo the fender from there and pull away the black plastic youll find alot of crap falling out - keep that area clean - if its clean already then your car has probably had a clean life so far

i guess just dont let any mud and sand develop anywhere and it should be ok - you cant really stop rust without being anal about it - if its gonna happen just fix it before it gets too large

Snozzle, My car has quite a bit of rust on that area, on both drivers side and passenger side. Do you know of any DIY's on this issue. Because mine needs to be fixed ASAP.

Or if you could explain it in detail, that would be much appreciated. Thanks =]
