Hey guys.

My cars getting older and I just want to look into some ways of safe guarding it against rust. Better to be safe than sorry.

Has anyone heard of ERPS (http://www.erps.com.au)? Looks to be an intresting way of preventing rust from occuring... What do you guys think or reccomend?

Ross

Sounds like a load of bullshit to me.

For 30yrs my family has had a holiday house right on the GOR.

10yr old cars, 25yr old boat/trailer etc. They live every day in the sea air, get wet all the time - all are fine. Not a iota of rust on them.

As long as you wash the car, look after it and if any paint chips off to metal - get it fixed - then you won't get rush issues to be honest.

Rust won't get in if you repair any damage etc.

Even my GTSR while it was getting the body work done, only had rush in the area's that had damage associated.

All other area's were 100% rust free. And that's a 25yo car.

yeah most cars are built pretty well from better materials that dont rust as easily these days,

make sure u keep it free of dirt and leaves building up in crevices , keep it waxed. Ct20 truck wash is great stuff as well,

i still find suspension parts tend to rust up over time though, not sure how to solve that.
