Power Steering Pump Rebuild Kit

hey my power steering pump out of my 180 started to leak through pulley side and i have been told i can get a power steering rebuild kit for it, been told to ring up veales, i did that yesterday and they told me they dont do anything like that, so i am like huh. anyone know where i can get a rebuild kit locally as i dont really have time to wait for stuff from over seas

Check with Pedders as they do power steering and should be able to find one...

Most power steering shops can sort that out.

i think it would be cheaper to just replace it with a second hand one. Should be around $80 or less.

Yeah but if you buy a rebuild kit you'd have pretty much a brand new pump because of the new internals in it (bearings,seals n shit) but your still using the old cover.

Im having the same problem with my r33,let us know how it turns out man.

auto power steer in ossie park did my old pulsar one.

was cheap, fast and worked a treat

My pulley was a little bent on mine so I bought another working pump, $50... will fit it tomorrow... im sure you could get a pump off the forums thats in good nick and swap them over. Then later try veale, repco, coventrys, auto one, auto pro for a p/steer rebuild kit.

Ill see if I can get another pulley for cheap and rebuild the pump Im pulling out. It has KYP written over it so I figure it's been a pretty new replacement.
