anyway. my radio isnt working, i pulled out the deck, (its sitting on the passenger seat at the moment) and i had a look at the radio cable thing thats meant to go into the deck. well im guessing that its that. the only problem is that it looks jap,. and wont fit in the hole.? :D

i can control the ariel(spelling) from the deck but no radio. has any 1 ever had this problem. also can i just cut that mofo off and stick on a aussy 1 that will fit. any help would be great. also im working on the car as i type. heres the pic.

you can get a special cable from an autotive shop that reduces the 2 plug Jap Socket into 1, so what it does is plugs into the Jap Radio Socket and then Goes in 2 wires one for the back of the radio and one for the Window Antenner...

I had the same problem, I chopped the 2 pin plug off and stripped back the cable a bit. It was a tricky job but in the end i managed to get both aerials connected to the one standard aerial plug (R32's have a front and rear windscreen dual diversity FM system).

Buy an adaptor if your not prepared to waste half an hour of your life converting the cable. Its just coax wire so its not rocket science, centre core and outer shield, easy.
