Hi Everyone

I am in the market of stagea

I want to know if an M35 comes with the following

1. NISMO Option? like momo steering wheel, body kit, wheels and etc?

2. NISMO OPtions does come with DVD/Sat Nav - yes or no?

3. If there a NISMO Option - what does the car have? or what I should expect?

I found a car from an importer yard but im not 100% trusting all things he

said.

NISMO options include

Body kit

Steering wheel

Instrument cluster (speedo etc)

Gauge cluster (Boost, torque, battery - all white)

Suspension (S-Tunes)

Dump pipe

Cat-back exhaust

ECU

Wheels (LMgt4 for 2001-2004 and LMX5 for 2005+)

Air filter

I know I am missing more, but stuffed if I can remember

That one on Carsales is NOT a "Nismo" M35.

It has a Nismo kit, steering wheel and wheels (maybe suspension), but the M35 DID come as a complete optioned car from Nismo if you wanted, but it wasn't plated any differently.

they're all factory optional extra by NISMO.

Theres a pdf of the available options floating around here somewhere.. Not sure if it was Nismo Specific though.

Do you have the link for the carsales one?

Great for the info mate thanks for that - so it is not a legit nismo

anymore concrete details about the one from Carsales? cause it was priced a lil bit high

Priced high 'cause it looks nice.

A few guys here that own M35's and used to own M35's have been out to look at it and all said that it looks quite rough.

I'd like to see it, but be stuffed flying up to Sydney to do so.

Maybe ask zei20l and Bise-bee what they thought of it.

EDIT: Oh yeah, that isn't an M35 Nismo exhaust. Looks more Kakimoto or Blitz to me.

That price isn't too bad for all those extra's is it? If the K's are genuine then I personally would pay that for it. Iron Chef has one with a claimed 24xxxk's on it for about $19K which might be worth a look. Kristian is very honest and if I was buy one again I would definitely buy from him.

Can you please link me to the people who actually seen this car?

what are the things I need to be more careful o? or things to look at when buying the car? or any m35?

I am taking a mechanic with me anyway

stephen looked at it, i havent, and wont bother after his comments to me about it.

its too cheap for a 2003 model with that mileage and the mods/additions on it. be wary of it if you do go to look at it

Can you please PM me stephen's number I want to talk to him and gets his opinion + comments

he cant answer the phone at work, so its best to PM him on here so he can reply when possible.

his name is bis-e-bee

its also not a real nismo stagea. the badging and stickers are all in the wrong spot. the kit MIGHT be genuine

Bit melodramatic don't you think?

I am sure that the kit is genuine Nismo, as is the Nismo option steering wheel.... and the wheels and maybe the suspension (at a guess).

I wonder what ECU it has....

i like dramatising things :)

the ONLY thing id be worried about is the engine condition, and the apparent mileage.

who knows, might turn out to be a great buy! but id need to see it for myself to know for sure

I've seen it myself - from my not very good experience in importing the milage does not match the condition of the car

it easy to spot from the carpet alone - I know i want to buy it I am doing this so I can negotiate witht he yard so I won;t get

rip off.

I am going back to bring a mechanic with me to check the engine out and I am not racist but im not trusting the owner

    • UPDATE: Hi all!  As we are getting towards the end of this thread where I’ll showcase final dyno numbers and graph, I wanted to provide an update. Tao from HyperGear has done an amazing job building the custom divided T3 housing for the G30. Communication was flawless, price was great, and now the housing is estimated to arrive in 7-10 days! Very very pleased. I must add, if someone is looking for an affordable turbo and end up reading this thread, I would recommend HyperGear. Genuine brands are the way to go as their proven reliability, predictable performance, and there’s a plethora of information available for specs, flow, and more. This HyperGear recommendation is based on their excellent communication, dedication, and willingness to listen to their customers. I particularly liked their ability to create custom adaptations tailored to specific needs, which is a HUGE benefit over other brands. And if we consider the HyperGear provided dyno results, it adds reassurance knowing their turbos can compete against genuine brands. Next update will be after the dyno!
    • I've previously seen people post up "dress up bolt kits" for RBs but don't remember seeing them specify the full contents. I can only really suggest you grab the verniers and start measuring, and keep in mind the cam cover and timing cover bolts are both quite specific with a wider unthreaded section where the bushes sit, that will make it hard to get aftermarket replacements which tend to be all thread (set screws) or for longer bolts a flat section with a shorter threaded section at the end
    • I believe there was a similar one posted by @duggyphresh. They were re-routing their battery positive cable in the way I am also trying to achieve. Sorry, I’m new to this forum, so was a bit late to the party by a few months and so reignited the old thread, as I wanted to know how they got on with doing it.
