Coil Packs ?

I'm in need of coil packs for my series 1 R33 GTST. Now heres the problem the engine was replaced before I purchased the car. I don't know if the engine is a series 1 or 2. I've read in the forsale section where members do put down infomation regarding the coil packs and if they are one or the other series.

Are the coils pack different?

If they are, what is the difference?

How can I tell if my engine is S1 or S2

If there is a difference but compatible, would there be an advantage to use one over the other?

s1 have a igniter pack (square box on top of the coil pack cover with two plugs on it) at the back of the motor to fire the coils. s2 have inbuilt ingiters in the coils therefor no igniter pack. they are not compatible with each other

They bolt in differently aswell and s2 coils won't fit s1 car I've tried and failed lol so jus got sum nice supersparks
