What Do Side Intrusion Bars Actually Look Like?

I am unsure as to what I am lookin at. I have just got a 89 R32 GTR that needs compliance and just want to check if it has intrusion bars factory fitted already. I can see two vertical bars inside the door, are these the ones? i hope so

from my understanding an intrusion bar is just a bar that sits horizontally along the inside of the door, but they might be different with each car

The only one i've seen (was a mazda rx4) was about 40mm in diameter and horizontal.
