A/c Not Working

i recently got my cars air conditioning system regassed, because wen i bought the car the gas was taken out for compliance.

anywayz after it got regassed the air-con worked fine, got pretty cold, but the condensor fan wouldnt work, so the auto electrician bypassed it so the fan would start soon as the ac is on.

now for the past few weeks the air con doesnt work at all, i turn it on and sometimes i can hear the ac compressor engage then afew seconds later disengage.

sometimes i got to turn it on and the compressor just doesnt engage at all...

i thought it could be my AC control panel in the dash so i bought a new one and that didnt fix it either

what could the problem be? its driving me nuts in this heat !

what else can i check? could the ac compressor be rooted?

any info would be very helpful !

Maybe there's a leak in the system, and you don't have any gas left.

Its not hard for auto electricians to run a diagnosis on the AC compressor. Not expensive either. If its engaging then quickly disengaging, its either electrical issue somewhere(relay, fuse, wiring etc) or the compressor has seized.

Besides the relay under the bonnet are there any other fuses or electrical components I can check before I take it to get checked?
