Rb20Det Boost Problem

Hey guys any help would be legend

Iv got a project 32 gtst rb20det which is basicly finished

Took it for a run the other day was running amazing ! no lag somehow (has fmic stock turb) boost was creeping even tho no boost controler(has to be boost leak?)

Then the next day took it out unlimited boost prety much wtf! yes i checked all the lines evrithin seems to be sweet and tight c;lamps on EVRITHIN (thort actuator line came off but didnt)

But the thing is it was gutless on boost? and unlimited over nyt? has waste spark setup also .

How the hell does it go from perfect to unlimited and gutless on boost ? feels like its hesitant

Any opinions ?

too much boost and no fuel(way too lean) will make little power.

check the wastegate flap can swing fully open and closed, if you have a split dump pipe check the flap isnt fouling on the splitter

unlimited boost means there is no pressure signal getting to the wastegate actuator. that means either split hose (can be sometimes hard to see), hose come off (should be easy to see) or the system is not hooked up correctly. you need to take another look at the boost control piping or get someone else who really knows how basic boost control works to check it for you.

Cheers guys yeah i think ur right guna check out the hoses for splits its gta be it. the dump pipe isnt split so gates fine (i think lol will check anyway)

found a massive cut undeneath the clamp on the actuator hose cronicly leaking under pressure LOL

yet to drive it but that had to be the problem
