Pvc Valve Seal Broken

after inspecting my pvc valve to make sure it was operating properly, i noticed that the rubber seal on the rocker cover had hardened, and actualy broken off into the rocker cover, thank god i managed to get it out through the pvc hold with a hook.

anyway, where can i buy these seals? my pvc valve has half a seal and currently being cable tied in place lol

any ideas?

Yes,the same thing happened to me but mine fell inside the rocker cover so i had to pull it off to get it out! Go to a Nissan dealer, they can supply one for about $20. A bit steep ,i know, but what else can you do?

Go to repco, R&E autos or similar & grab one to suit a falcon. Perfect fit & half the price of genuine...

I got my car back from the tuner after an injector install and found mine hanging inside the rocker cover. Next day to Nissan for the part and $20 later all sweet.

Genuine is genuine guys, I know mine lasted 18 years, for $20 its a good deal.

Yeah it was around $20 from nissan, and the valve itself was around $36 from memory. I was told it would take 2 weeks to get here from Japan though, which is weird...

i tried getting one for an el falcon, its to big

Think the one I got was for AU/BA but in saying that am pretty damn sure they're all the same...

Have you actually tried fitting it or is it obviously WAY too big?

I am in Cranbourne, near you & I just went to the local Repco to see if they had a listing for R33s. They didn't but I knew some of the guys through work so he went searching with mine as a sample & came back with a Falcon item. Worked a treat!
