Hey guys,

My stagea is 4WD turned RWD, Previous owner had the front driveshaft removed I believe.

I'm thinking about fitting wheels which are:

18*8.5 +22 on the front and 18*9.5 +35 on rears. 225/35 on fronts and 245/40 on rears

Will this be fine to run considering I'm RWD?

Thank you.

Hi Rohan,

mate as long as rolling dia are same, should be sweet,

& as you may have read no need to pull front shaft,

Bubba is running RWD at moment with shaft in,

Good luck with small sidewall on WA`S poor roads,

how is he doing this? there is NO way you can safely run in rwd without pulling the shaft!

Bullshit. I've been running mostly in RWD since a couple of weeks before Powercruise. I have posted this up time and time again, if you refuse to believe, that's your problem but don't scaremonger.

Rohan, you want to run something like 225/40 and 245/35 to try keep the rolling diameter the same.. if you know what tyres you will be using, do a bit of research and match up some front and rears.

e.g. I run Federal 595's, if I was going to stagger I would go (depending on rim width) 255/35ZR18 90W 633mm OD and 225/40ZR18 88W 635mm OD

I think ATTESA can handle up to 5% difference before it flips out.

I ran staggered offsets with it still being 4wd. 8.5 +22 and 9.5 +25's. It was fine. Ijust ran 235/45s front and rear.

If your's is an auto, you will struggle to get a 9.5 +35 to fit. I run +22 and without camber arms it touched the coilover body on big bumps.

Manual, I'm probably just going to get them and if I have problems I'll change the tires so that diameter is the same.

Thank you everyone.
