Er34 Gtt Hood + Gas Struts

Hey everyone,

Currently importing a R34 over from JP... I previously owned a S2 Stagea...

I couldn't help but notice that 34's don't have gas struts? Where as the Stagea did.

I can only assume that Stagea's and R34s would be able to share the same Strut. Can anyone confirm?

No skyline has gas struts on the bonnet.

You can get aftermarket ones that fit the GTR models, but not the GTST/GTT models. Having said that, some people have fitted them and I have looked into this myself.

The main problem seems to be the mounting position on the guards, hence why the GTR ones don't fit the GTST/GTT.

you can most certainly fit them yourself, just takes a little bit of work. just get some using the same part number as what the cefiro uses (can get munroe brand ones - i think - from autobarn, but they will cost you about $80 from memory). i was going to do it for the missus pulsar but was too lazy.

It's not so much getting the gas struts, it's the mounting location so it clears the bonnet and so it is solid enough.
