oh btw its a standard turbo so standard actuator

by T'ing this off the BOV vacuum line you may cause damage to the air regulator.

there is Vacuum in the engine after the throttle body.

there is no vacuum on the IC piping. thus the necessity of having it on the IC.

its 6mm Hose.

that does not make sense at all mate. as standard the line goes to the intercooler piping.

the only lines i have free is one where i removed the carbon canister and that is next to the throttle body and then there is another from the plenum itself. can i use one of these?

how doesnt it make sense?

The engine creates "Vacuum" after the throttle body.

This type of Vacuum isnt created before the Throttle Body(IC Piping)

the Air regulator or turbotech controller is a one way valve. air cant go both ways in this which may damage the internals if connected like this.

I boost controller needs to be set up before the Throttle body.

The one on the plenum is after the throttle body right? if so i dont advise using this.

Edit: this is how i eff'd my "turbo smart boost T" which runs on the same principle of ball and spring type air regulator as a Turbo tech.

ah i see makes sense now sorry i didnt read the first post prop so really i should tap a nipple into the i/c piping before the throttle body

all good man! forums are for help!!

yeh thats the best way..

:)

nah reason being it is in a vl and i used a vlt intercooler piping kit and moded it a bit and the vlt acuator uses the compressor housing to the actuator

then to avoid drilling new holes(if its easy to get to) use the compressor housing nipple.

if you decide to add another nipple you will have to plug this one. or T into it anyway.. that may be your easiest option avoiding more holes.. it might be a bitch to adjust it though, unless you add vacuum hose and relocate the air reg.

Otherwise you can drill and tap a nipple into the elbow that comes off the compressor. It's easy enough cause you can pull it off, do the work, clean it then put it back on

this would be the go. the rb turbo is much easier to get t than most cars
