look at my S2 1998. hit by little boy last nite.

how much it cost to fix it.

anyone think it will be total loss?

my friend said the all the damage need to get a new parts. it is too hard to fix it.

if total loss, how much the insureance will pay me? I paid 17000for it 2 year ago. and I have third party insureance only.

You answered your own question third party insurance only covers the third party - that is not you , and the only way that's a write off (which is irrelevant "third party" means no money for a write off) is if the rear damage has affected the chassis ( they will likely just pull it straight) on the bright side u probably only need a new front quarter panel and rear door the rest can be repaired and repainted talk to a panel beater and my bet is they will say just that, and cost depends on what u do yourself and the panel beaters mood, still a pain in the arse though good luck with it all.

If someone hit you, then they are liable to cover the cost of the repairs. Hopefully they have at a minimum, 3rd party. At a glance, it doesn't look too bad, but considering that the damage includes the rear arch/door guard, it will increase the cost of the repair significantly.

Disregard what you paid for hte car 2 years ago, look at what the car is currently insured for. Once you figure that out, you will get an idea of how much damage will be required to write it off. In my opinion, it will not be a right off, but the damage to the reat makes it a bit more difficult to judge.

mate if someone hit you then their insurance company (if they are insured) will have to pay for repairs or pay-out the market value of the vehicle if written off. aslong as you got all their details i would take it to afew panel beater joints (up market ones) and get about 3 repair quotes (if repairable) and forward them to his insurance company.

might just be the angle of the photo and the changed shape of the rear door/gaurd - but it looks like your rear wheel might be a bit out.....if so, then if i were you i'd be praying for a write off because once a car has it's suspension knocked out it's never really the same - esp with the complicated HICAS rear ends.....

but you might be lucky. i had a skyline written off, bought the wreck, then sourced all the replacement parts and took it to a panel beater - cost me 3k to fix it, and i got a full respray! so there is always opportunity for a win ;-)

rear dogleg is smashed to f**k. You would be mad to try and fix that. IMO you should pray for a write off

and if the cost of parts isbased on prices from Nissan (and it will being an import) then it will get written off
