In the Redline Oils range, which I personally use, you would be looking for the "Lightweight Shockproof" product. If you have another brand in mind simply make sure it's a GL-4 rated gear oil.

Yep, Redline Shockproof is what I have in my gearbox too.

It's not cheap, but it does make the gearshift smoother, especially when you first jump in the car and all the oils are still cold.

old e series falcons run auto trans fluid in the 5 spd manuals, when i converted my ED falcon from auto to manual, when i heard it took auto trans fluid i researched it for a few days til i was confident enough to put the auto fluid in.

Auto fluid in a manual gearbox?

They had auto tranny fluid listed on file at autobahn for R32 GTR, R33 GTR, R34 GTR thats why i thought fluid rather than oil because they are very similar boxes. But i think ill go with oil.

not good...hope people double check before buying because I bet autobarn won't pay to replace the gearbox.

workshop manual says 75w90 gear oil for r32 and r33. I'm use 75w80 or redline lightweight. But never auto trans fluid, that is r34 (getrag) manual only
