Import Monster Sauvic Deca Motorkhana - 2011 Round 1

Recommended Posts

Why can't you? DECA Saturday, then spend the night in Shepp/Benella and drift the next day. Sounds like an awesome weekend.

Also guys, my mate Jett is coming. He's a 18yo hoon who drives an automatic EF i6 Falcon with the number plates S1DWYZ. He's a nice kid, but feel free to hang shit all over his car thumbsup.gif

Bahahahaha your such a nice guy Kieran

LOL!!!! is anyone driving up on Saturday morning to deca? If so, interested in meeting up and cruising together? if i see any interest then ill make a new thread with details of meet location and time... :)

We've been trying to teach him ever since he got his car that its not a performance monster, and that he should move onto imports for his own good. He's also aware that he's turning up to a SAU event in a Ford and fully expects to cop it.

Like I said though, he's a good kid and flips out over any nice car, Ford or not. So he's going to have a blast.

I'm cruising up sat morning, was going to leave mine around 5:30 so I would get to wallan bp by 6:30ish, should leave me ample time to get there by 7 30.

One weekend day left to make sure your shit is ready people get on it!

Polished the radio antenna and checked the pads. Still got 1mm left so all systems go. Who needs brakes anyway they just slow you down. JK

So where do I look for shit. ah, under the seat. no.gif

So, come on Saturday biggrin.gif

Heads up guys, mate of mine just drove back from Shepp and claims he hit a cloud of locust. Might wanna prep your car incase they're still there.

Yeah i was there for the weekend as well.

Shocking on the way up, nothing on the way back.

that said nothing the car wash didn't fix.

Yup. Locusts are crap. I live just outside of Shepp and I am washing my car every second day - it sucks the big one. Nothing a $2 pressure wash can't fix though :)

Woohoooooo 2 more sleeps  Well.... 3 if you dont count the Friday shenanigans :whistling:

Just a thought but does anyone have a spare crash helmet and coming to DECA.

My dad is also driving my car and it would be good if we could be both in the car for some of the runs - only have the one helmet.

I'm the one in the green 200sx s14 with my da :D

    • Personal experience. Those f**kers burn. And are actually a PITA to put out. Next time I walk down the back, I'll snap a photo of what the inside of the bonnet looks like when that thing ignites. PS, powder fire extinguishers are useless on that stuff too as it's fibrous and when it ignites, it starts to pull apart. And you end up just blowing powder through a sieve effectively.   Like the big thing is, if it's fire resistant, it's job is to stop what burning? The METAL above it? It's just to try keep heat off the bonnet paint work.
    • Oh man, sorry, $60.00000000... 😛
    • That's more or less what he meant. What it really means is that you do not have to go full crazy on the build. Don't need the best oil pump, expensive rods & pistons, big cams, etc. You can upgrade whatever you want instead of using stock level items, but you don't have to. Having said that - any time an RB is opened up, if anything is getting replaced, I think the opportunity should be taken to do all the sensible upgrades. Pistons, rods, pump, etc.
    • February update 🙂 We managed to get the very last 1/18th "Extra Scale" cars stock available from bookstores in Kyoto. These are actually the last ones and will not be restocked again! Hachette Collections Japan have not decided on a release date for these or other models in the series, so for the time being these are all there are available new.  These are showing up on Yahoo auctions at inflated prices already (especially the Celica and NSX) so get yours now at a very reasonable price before they disappear!
