Bump!

......going.......going........

Item: 1994 R33 Nissan Skyline GTS25T - 4 Door

Location: Adelaide

Item Condition: Average/Good Condition, although could be very good with some TLC. I've had this car for 4 1/2 years now and am the second australian owner. Purchased this from a Doctor who had it imported originally. Complianced in mid-2000 making it one of the first 4 door's in the country.

Reason for Selling: Bought a Mazda 3 MPS hatchback (needed more carry space for work and a growing family)

Price and Payment Conditions: $6,900 ono cash. Priced for a quick, outright sale.

Extra Info:

5 spd Manual

Gunmetal in colour

Registered until Jan 2010

Genuine 190,000Kms -

- Car was painted about 3yrs ago except for bumpers, side skirts and door handles (a long story!)

- New clutch, pressure plate and thrust bearing

- New clutch master and slave cylinders

- New front brake pads and disks machined

- Gearbox has had new main bearings fitted

- GReddy Front Mount Intercooler

- Microtech LT-12 ECU

- Side skirts

- JVC head unit and speakers

- K&N pod filter with silicon inlet pipe from turbo to MAF

- 18" genuine Zepter 3piece Mesh Wheels (nice dish)

- 4 x RDA grooved rotors (from the group buy)

- Kuhmo Ecsta 265x40x18 rears / 245x45x18 fronts (80% tread)

TO-DO LIST

- Power steering needs new high pressure hose (leaking oil) but still works fine

- Developed a kooky electrical problem since gearbox/clutch was done, they must have damaged some electrical wiring somewhere. Whatever they have done, the turbo timer now goes stupid on occasion and its affected the aircond control panel. All electrical was working beautifully before it went in for the gearbox....go figure!! They claim that it's not their problem.

- Rubber gasket in the ring that fastens down the fuel pump needs to be replaced (smell petrol fumes sometimes)

- Has only ever had a winter tune. Needs a summer tune at some stage

- Originally tuned by Shaun at Boostworx. Last tune by Tim Possingham at Tilbrooks

Pictures: yes!

This has been a great, reliable car. Because it has been my everyday car, the last tune was intended to improve my economy rather than search for more power. Tim knocked it back to about 165rwkw on Tilbrooks dyno and it has been returning a pretty consistent 14L/100Km, not bad for a solid city driver using a Microtech. But it is a winter tune and it could use another map for the warmer weather. The leaner map is definitely not as smooth as the more powerful map it had before but it is certainly cheaper to run.

I would call this a "diamond in the rough". It already has most of the fruit you need to get some good HP out of it and it handles well on the Tein/Kuhmo setup, even though a set of slightly softer springs would make it work alot better if going around corners is your thing. If you have the know how to do alot of these repairs yourself, then this will be one of those rare, great bargains. Even if you paid someone (that you TRUST) to do the work for you, it wouldn't take a hell of a lot of money to make a huge difference. I reckon it looks tough with the 18's but doesn't attract the cops whatsoever. It's only lowered to about the legal limit so it's ideal for the street (you won't be scrapping when you drive over humps or spoon drains) or if you prefer, slam it all the way down........the choice is up to you.

I think I've said all I need to say, except that the wife has dropped the hammer and said that "it has to go"! I reckon the price I'm asking is damn fair and isn't far off its wrecking value, so be quick if you're interested.

IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE VEHICLE IN PERSON, POP OVER TO UNIVERSAL MOTOR AUCTIONS AT 99-105 TORRENS ROAD, BROMPTON.

It's booked in to be auctioned on Wednesday, so if you're interested in making a deal beforehend, let me know. Otherwise it's in the lap of the gods on the 25th November!!!

Dark.sky ordered some rb20 injectors from the US thru me, however since he's changing engines, he has no need for the following injectors

He has already paid for these injectors, so prices are firm.

6x555 Lucas brand injectors, top feed, high impedance, suit rb20det. $400 firm, pickup only (or buyer pays postage)

These are unused, still in plastic wrap.

Sale only due to buyer switching to rb25 (and hence requiring rb25 injectors instead)

PM me.

Sold pending payment.

cant wait to see your car when your done. my diff will be in tomorrow then redyno on fri morn to fix the f*kup. dam CAS sensors.

^ yeah dont go JJR. i had one on my 33 for like 1 day, sounded like an SR, (tractor)

let me know how that diff goes.

my 31 wont be running next weekend as planned, problem after problem, but ill get there.

yeh heard a lot of bad things about JJR ones, but realistically, if ur buying anything that requires quality design, manufacturing or materials then keep away from any cheap gear like JJR.

    • Are these a plug and play setup, and do they need a tune, like a haltech ecu etc? Thanks
    • Nice work on the paint. Those 3 studs are long as.
    • Hi everyone, still chasing a bunch of this stuff. Thanks
    • Been over 2 months since I have done anything on the S15 and had a day off today so got stuck into mounting the radiator and intercooler. I ended up using factory bottom mounts as bolted in and I did order some gktech top brackets but didn't work with the PWR radiator so made up some with aluminium flat bar. Spent way to long on them but pretty happy how they are. Next job was the intercooler. Used some more aluminium flat bar and did the bottom mounts first. Top was easy as just one long piece and 2 90 degree coming off rad support and welded them on. The bumper support required some notching to let the outlets sit where I want so will add some reinforcement later to strengthen it. I have also bought ecu and waiting for it to arrive. Went with a Link g4x Xtreme but will be adding a ptmotorsport expander to add a few extra inputs over CAN. Went through a few different configurations on pclink to get what I want to allow future expansion for sensors and gearbox upgrades. Ordered gktech rear arms but looking at the hardrace lower control arms to have some extra adjustment too will see how the alignment looks after first setup. Got 2 more weeks of work before shut down and will have almost 4 weeks to work on this so planning on hopefully firing up mid January.   Also bought a 2015 brz with a heap of good gear, did noosa hill climb a month back. Owned it for 3 days changed alignment and sent it. Finished the weekend 2nd in class and only .3 off the 180sx best time last year. MCA Red coilovers, gktech rear lca, bolt on lock kit and tie rods, whiteline toe arms, cusco 1.5way diff and 4.5 ratio, endless brake pads, headers, exhaust, perrin intake and e85 tune. Electronic steering adjustment, nankang crs with koya wheels 17x9 +35. Have bought rear traction arm and relocation kit, extended studs and v3 tie rod kit. Planning on also getting flex tune as lucky to get 300km a tank with e85 and short ratio. Car is a heap of fun to drive and super easy to work on. AC in the line up at Noosa was mint in 35degree weather.
