all items located in blakeview SA

- RB25DET series 2 motor that has been previously opened as I intended to forged rebuild it, I had to move interstate so I loosely bolted it back together as the moving company wouldn't move an engine but they would move the car with or without it.

the engine does need to be rebuilt and will come with new rings and bearings, the intake manifold, throttle body, nismo 555cc injectors, a tomei cam gear on the exhaust side, gates racing timing belt.

the motor was on 107xxxKM before it was stripped.

the motor DOES need to be re built

$700 ONO or 800 with crane and stand

I also have a few other parts as well:

-extreme 6 puck solid button clutch with a extra heavy duty pressure plate, used but in near new condition - $300 ONO

- SCA engine crane and stand, for both $250 ONO

-standard RB25 coil packs. $50 ONO

- all off RB25:

starter motor

power steering pump

alternator

aircon pump

flywheel

R32 engine mount brackets

cam angle sensor

clutch fan

↑ all

$8200 O.N.O.

Tasteful upgrades completed ready to be enhanced by power modifications or just leave it as a great daily that is legal.

Great interior and the previous owner put on a fresh coat of paint about 3 years ago.

The usual stuff can be said about it... Always serviced etc etc and all work done by known specialist mechanics that deal with imports. Receipts folder available to view work & service history.

What does it have/ what has been done;

-Major Service, belts and water pump at 100,000km

-additional oil/filter/tunes

-New coilpacks

-Headlights restored

-Voltage Stabiliser

-New dash cluster (old one had speedo stop working, new one was only 3000km out from the new one, I still have it to show KM's)

-Nissan Diagnostic cable

-New fuel pump (Walbro 255 L/ph)

-Sound deadening in doors

-Anchored pod filter

-Pivot Digital Speedo

-new platinum spark plugs

-lowered with new springs & KYB Shocks (it sits 15mm above legal)

-New windscreen (it still had the factory original)

-New right hand window reg and motor

-New tint

-Upgraded alarm system with built in turbo timer

-Full Nismo exhaust (Turbo back - straight through to muffler)

-New clutch slave and master cylinders

-Main seals done and running Redline oils

-Exedy H/Duty 1200KG Ceramic 5 puck clutch

-DBA 4000 slotted rotors all round with QFM A1RM brake pads (only about 1500km since brakes done)

-Reinforced pedal box

I do have a Apexi AVCR Limited boost controller but it has not been fitted yet. It is for sale separately at $450.

If you are after a skyline definitely worth a look at this one. I am a fastidious vehicle owner and it took me months and many many trips to look at skylines before I found this one.

PM me for more details :)

    • Much less twat-tastic. CF wheels are too garish for civilised use.
    • From there, as the manual says....assembly is the reverse of disassembly, no tricks worth mentioning Much better (for me)
    • In my case, the standard wheel I had was in good condition but the buttons had more wear, so I swapped them across from the original wheel from the car. The plastic rear cover is held on by 4 tabs, and once the wiring is removed you can get access to 2 screws on each side the hold the buttons in From there I just swapped the wiring over. What was interesting is the standard style wheel is 2.0kg but the carbon fibre one is 50% heavier at 2.9kg. It even has a weight inside the wheel at the top to make up for some sort of imbalance in the design. weird
    • Once the airbag is off, to remove the steering wheel.... Undo the 2 plugs into the clock spring, and the horn connector from it's clip. Hit the 19mm nut with a rattle gun (preferably) or if you don't' have one, you probably want an assistant to hold the wheel in place while you use a breaker bar to undo the nut Then, screw the nut back on 3 turns, and pull the wheel sharply towards you. If that doesn't work hit it medium force with a rubber mallet on either side, or possible behind if you can get there. If that all fails (it shouldn't!) you might need a steering wheel puller
    • So, to next task....the carbon fibre steering wheel was either an expensive factory option or a chinesium special. Either way, I don't like either the flat bottom or thick ring style, so it had to go So...to remove the steering wheel.... First, disconnect battery negative and stomp on the brake pedal for a few seconds. Then, remove the small circular covers on each side of the wheel's rear surround to uncover the airbag clips. You need to push something like a flat bladed screw driver through, to push the steel clip inwards and pull the side of the airbag forward. Once you've done the easy side, same on the centre console side. You can see the tab you are shooting for circled in red Then, disconnect the horn spade connector and for the yellow airbag plug you need to get something small under the black locking tab to pop it out, then the connector releases......airbag is off
