P Plate Race Drift Track, Turbo Legal ?

I am currentley on my green p's in NSW and was planning on buying a twin turbo to drift on the tracks. Are you allowed to use turbos if you are a p plater if your only driving it on race tracks ? Also are there any good drifting tracks near Wollongong area ?

no problems with anyone driving a turbo car on the race track, RTA rules do not apply.

you may need your mum to drive it to the track for you though.

there are no dedicated drift tracks in NSW - you will have to go to Eastern Creek or Wakefield Park on a drift day (not many to choose from). Or, motorkhana days on a skidpan like our "Texikhana" events
