Hey guys just woundering if any ones made some sort of support for there turbo manifold setup

i recently parted with my stock turbo and upgraded to a conciderbily larger turbo and a stainless steel manifold and when test

fitted this turbo manifold together realised it weighed a ton have bein told in the past that stainless steel manifold can crack due to weight and heat... The shop i bought from reasured me this wouldent happen becouse it has a 5mm thick wall unlike cheap ones which are under 2mm

anyway bottom line is has anyone worked out a good way to take some weight of the manifold and engine head maybe a brace of some sort mines a LOW MOUNT setup

thanks in advance

Stainless steel manifolds generally crack because most of them are shit quality - ie cheap china rubbish.

The only way is to distribute the weight by welding on some extra support from the flange to say the collector area.

Also ensure the exhaust is not putting weight onto the setup and is correctly mounted to avoid this. Flex joins for instance are a must.
