* Good News:- We now have a Clubhouse!

* Bad News:- It ain't in Canberra

Addy thanks to Todd and Yumi of JapLink is, 175 Parramatta Rd Haberfield

We are looking for some furniture to kit it out, so have a squizz at Steve-0's thread and comment!

Q. Can a Canberran stay overnight if pooped and short of cash?

A. Only if Shell is staying over too - 'cause she'll have a key (and only if you don't snore - 'cause Shell will bash you over the head if you snore)

Q. What will it be used for?

A. Meetings, AGM, viewing WRC/F1/Races

Good Questions ^ ^ ^

* We can use the JapLink site 24/7 as we'll be occupying Suite#2 upstairs.

* If the JapLink is being used (daytime Mon-Sat), we'd need to park around the corner in a quiet residential street called Chandos St

* Outside of bus. hrs, we are able to use the yard and with the keys (that an Exec will have), it is secured parking.

* The driveway just needs to be taken at an angle and a low lip car will have no problem. There will be no cover. It's open.

* However, if you've parked around the corner in Chandos St, always go back onto Parramatta Rd. The back streets have deadly speed humps.

    • brake clearance depends on spoke design GT-R size I'd go 9.5 +15 or +12, and if you've rolled your guards, 10" +20. People run 10.5 but I reckon that's too wide.
    • I was using Realdash App on my entertainment unit in the sil80. Can connect over USB/bluetooth, can set up warnings and is discreet and doesn't stand out bonus was using android auto so had maps and music still going. Put the dollars saved from a screen into decent ecu, sensors and other upgrades.
    • Here’s something I was wondering. From the colour of the fuel that came out of the old filter and how hard it was to take it out, I would assume that was clogged AF! Do you think the car was running lean during those times? And would it now run better now that the flow is better? Or would it run rich for a while and then start adjusting?  I’m not really sure if the R34 ECU adjusts to changes like this. I mean it’s an ECU from 2000, not AI 😂 But also, interested to know if anything like that is there.
    • Have made a start on the dump pipe. Ordered a few 3.5 inch bends and pie cuts. To make fit up and tacking a bit easier cut some slots in an old t bolt clamp. It's been a tight fit but managedto get it down under the car but still sits about 5-6mm below the chassis rail. Have started to weld it out but not had much time. Also got new orings and gasket so intake and injectors are back in with all the water bypass done. Another box arrived with bits for making a  swirl pot off the upper coolant neck. PWR are still waiting to make my intercooler and radiator but should be ready in 2 weeks. Slowly making a plan for a few suspension arm upgrades for when all engine/driveline is done. Got a busy period for work  ext few weeks so not much will happen on the car.
    • I've had this happen with some cheaper kits and found the efihardware ones don't do this. I would go be pwm the pump no way need it at 100% all the time.
