Item Summary: 2002 NISSAN 200SX Spec S

Location: QLD: Brisbane

Postcode: 4067

Odometre: 220,624 kilometres <- chassis mileage, NOT engine km's (see below)

Asking Price: $23,990

Condition: Good

Reason for Selling: Want to start a new project!

Delivery Methods: PickUp

Contact Info: Michael on 0413504084

Extra Information: I have built this car up from scratch and it has served me well. I don't really want to sell it, but if the right buyer comes along I may let it go to make way for a new project. All the mods done on this car are purely performance based. This car was made to be driven, not posed in McDonalds carparks. I have listed the cost of all the mods next to them in the list below to give a better understanding of the amount of money and time put into building this and how much of a bargain this is going for. The only things left to do are T518z, Tomei Step 1 Cams, and HPI Intake Manifold.

Oh yeah, I am willing to keep the wheels and knock $2k off the price..

^ *Edit: Oh yeah, I'm also willing to sell it without the wheels, drivers seat, clutch and twin pipes for $18k. Will throw in a cannon for free to replace the twin pipes.

If a buyer chooses this option it can only go ahead once a deposit has been placed obviously...

Would You be prepared to Send it to Adl ?

Yeah, I think car transport would cost between $500-$800?

Alternatively you could fly in cheap and drive it home?

Hi mate, Not being a prick or anything so please don't take it that way. I don't know a great deal about the s15 at the moment, but don't they have roughly 250HP stock? Your numbers seem a little low unless i'm confused on thinking down the wrong path. Car seems amazing mate, Just the numbers have me confused!

I don't know a great deal about the s15 at the moment, but don't they have roughly 250HP stock?

When the engine is brand new from the factory the cylinder compression should be about 170psi. As the rings wear from age it drops, obviously resulting in slight powerloss. Your average sr20 with mileage has around 140psi compression.

Generally a stock sr20 (unopened and standard turbo) with supporting mods i.e. fuel pump, injectors, z32 afm, pfc etc) that's had boost increased from 7psi to 14psi will see between 160-180rwkw. Some claim 190-200kw, IMO that's either happy dyno or a engine with compression closer to 170.

The power figure I quote (and have a dyno sheet for) was from when it got tuned at 11psi which was because the actuator couldn't sustain 1bar and I had an old boost-t on there. That T28 died and I replaced it with another one and changed to a new GFB boost-t and it now spikes at 16psi then sits at 14psi nicely. I haven't taken it back to get a touchup tune and new dyno sheet printed yet, so it is most likely making a bit more power, it certainly feels quicker.

Rather than guesstimate about how much power it 'might have' I only mention what I know it has. When I've got time to chuck it on the dyno and get another print out I will do so and update the thread. With that said the proof is in the video you can see it has no trouble turning a 235/45/17 in 4th gear at QR.

Also note the T28 on my car is not a ball bearing one that most S15's come with, and dyno's are a tool used for tuning not judging how fast a car is - that's what the 1/4 mile is for ;)

Hope this clears that up :)

Update, fixed some boost leaks and some issues with the coilpacks and retuned and it's making 187rwkw (250hp) now which is on par with what it should be, so pretty happy about that :)

Also,

1. GTR Passenger seat sold, not sure what I will replace it with yet

2. Front wheels (Stich Evolutions) are sold, they are getting replaced with 18x9 +9 VSKF's which arrive next week.

3. Redid my cage padding
