R33 Gtr Brembos Vs R32 Gtr Sumitomos

hey guys

currently got the standard r32 gtr brakes but i might be getting some r33 gtr brembos on the front with 2 piece rotors.

i just want to know is theres much difference, if any, in thickness between the standard and Brembo calipers ?

reason i ask is because currently i have about 1 finger clearence between my rims and brake calipers, so im not sure if the Brembos will clear ?

im hoping they are about the same thickness as the standards...

all info would be great ! saves me buying them only to find out they dont fit lol

Yes, they are slightly bigger... depends how fat your fingers are?

Running 17s? If so you should be fine.

Other thing - are the rotors the same size?

IMO it's a pointless upgrade. It's been a topic argued to death of late so there are plenty of posts to read on it.

Just get some 2-piece items for your Sumi's or do a full upgrade.

Running 18 x 9.5 15mm offset

I think it's got about 18ish mm between caliper and rim

Yeh comes with 324mm dba4000 rotors too

18mm will be plenty of clearance for them.

4000's aren't two piece rotors.

5000's are.
