Selling a Tech Edge wide band meter.

Cheap and fun way to tune your own car or just to keep an eye on those A/F ratios.

Accuracy to within 0.1 which is plenty for street use.

See all the details here: http://wbo2.com/2j/2j1.htm

Connect to your laptop with the free software and monitor RPM, both knock sensors and A/F ratios. Only requires 3 wires to be connected to your ECU loom.

Cost me over $400 last year and has only done a few hundred kms. Im selling car and putting original ECU back in so this has to go.

Will sell for $250 firm. I will include registered postage to anywhere in Australia.

going off the picture there is no sensor and the rj45 plug has been cut off is this correct and its last years model which they no longer sell...

So I would need ot get a new bosch sensor, replace the rj45 connector and it should be right to go?

did you install this yourself, how hard is the install and do you need any software to hook it up to a laptop?

did you hook it up to your ecu at all? which ECU?

Sorry I should have mentioned that the sensor is still in the car. I need to jack it up to remove it and just havent got around to that yet. So YES the sensor is included. Can post a pic up as soon as I get it out.

I havent cut any plugs off. The grey wire you see with no end is the connections for the ECU. You just strip back the outer cover to get at the wires. There is another connector to attach your laptop with I havent included in the pic but here is a pic of it from the Tech Edge website. You either have the Display plugged in or the laptop into the grey wire with the black thingy on the end.

I installed it myself, was fairly straight forward. You need to find a wiring diagram for your ECU so you know which wires to tap into to. I was using it on a Power FC on my R33 GTSt. I tapped into the RPM, and both knock sensors, plus you get the A/F ratio from the sensor, so on the laptop I was graphing 4 inputs.

Software I used was free and available from the Tech Edge website. Have a look here: http://wbo2.com/sw/log.htm
