hey guys i have a rb26 gearbox thats getting bolted up to a r33 rb26.

problem is im not 100% the gearbox is a push or pull type? how do i check this - cant find anything on the net and i need to buy a clutch for it. (bought car without clutch)

when i push the fork towards the rear of the car the thrust bearing (or whatever is on the gearbox shaft) goes forward

thanks

If the slave sits on the rear side of the gearbox and pushes forward it's a Pull.

If the slave sits on the front and pushes towards the rear of the car it's a push.

Alternatively, if you post up a pic of the fork setup its easy to tell.

Cheers
