Water Pump

Dont know how but the shaft out of the W/P to the fan, sheared off. F#*+KD the fan, the shroud and the radiator.I have a radiator and shroud but will also need a fan.Am putting the fan in the WTB, but where to get a W/P quickly.

hey hugh just get a vl commodore pump from super cheap or globe $50-$80 1 bolt hole needs to be plugged and away you go.

I got the correct pump from bursons for mine, they ordered it in and I had it the next day, there where 2 listed for the car, the series 1 uses the vl pump and the series 2 uses the other pump

You could come get that gearbox & a fan & a water pump

Well, I got a VL water pump from Globe today. $90, and Repco etc all wanted $90.

The bit about plugging a hole is interesting. I am sure that the shagged pump was a VL caus it had a hole in the casting that was plugged in the block.

Am slowly getting the 25G back together. Not too sure about the tension pulley for the T/B.

If anyone out there has done this would appreciate some info. Either a PM or a phone No and I will call .

My water pump did the same search n ull find it. Who did ur 100k service or ancillary belts?

if you wern't in a hurry hugh you could of got one off ebay for $43 and a grub screw usually fills that spare hole
