Going to call the rta today.. but thought i might dodge that bullet and ask someone here.

got a car that i bought around xmas lastyear, is on the register as written off (was only stolen recovered) so there is no damage..

I was told i might need an inspection? is this just a blueslip? here is a screen shot from the rta's web.. alot of info has changed dew to the new ruling for written off cars. but this does not apply to mine..

I've highlighted a bit.. what is a "standard Rta Inspection" is this a Auvis??

For your car, it will be just a blue slip, however, if you get unlucky, you might be selected to go an RTA Inspection station and have the car checked by the RTA (for repairs and VIN ID).

NB: There are new rules as of 31 Jan 2011 for "writtten-off" vehicles in NSW:
