V8 Supercars 2 will also be coming to the PC and this version of the game delivers an even more precise handling feel and better graphics.

Can't wait !

Colin McRae Rally 4 should tie me over till then...

  • 2 weeks later...

Don't know but I played the demo on the computer and its not very easy, the digital controls make it difficult to turn in, brake, accelerate smoothly.

Was good sitting there spinning sideways and almost being able to drift in some places.

Hopefully its nowhere near finished though as theres a heap of dodgy graphic bits in it.

And I'm really looking forward to the supertrucks.

As for colin mcrae 4.. Downloaded the demo for that too, haven't played it yet though.

i tried the V8 supercars 2 demo last night.

at first i tried using the keyboard. wasnt really impressed at all.

then i dusted off the old MS Sidewinder FF wheel. The grin factor hit the roof! especially when driving the old Jag

Awesome with a wheel, the handling is as good GT3, possibly even a bit better.

This game will make big waves if its mutiplayer feature goes well.

Yeah crooser, I was looking for my brothers mad catz wheel.

The keyboards on/off attributes don't really help..

Can do some mad little sideways burnouts in it, I was also liking how you can accelerate and then put the brake on.. leaving some nice skids all up the track. It'd be better if these games didn't lose the rubber from the tracks.. Three weeks later you play the game and theres still your donut patch in the middle of the track, etc...

    • Being this happened about 4 years ago, i honestly forget exactly what is was, but I wound bringing to Simon at SR Werks when he was here in NY. He was able to properly diagnose and repair. I believe it had to do with the harness behind my dash.
    • It's because the air comes in over #3 & #4. The two "dead" ends of the plenum are at #6 & #1, with #6 being a little more "compromised" (Sorry about all the quote marks) than #1, due to the shape. So you get the dead end effect at #6 & #1 where dynamic pressure converts to static pressure, likely causing the air flow to be highest for these. The others are then just working in from the ends to the centre. 6 -> 1 is only valid for FFPs.
    • Cut back on the attitude champ, no one is obligated to help you. The chances of Forester owners on here are quite low, considering this forum is called Skylines Australia. https://www.subarupartsdeal.com/parts/subaru-under-cover-front~56410sa000.html ^ that picture looks wrong, because if you see the diagram, 56410SA070 looks correct. You can always check where the mounting holes are on your car, and compare them to the pictures.
    • Hey Duncan, I've always set them up from 6 -> 1. Due to slightly higher EGT's, I also add a small amount of fuel to cylinder 6 & 5. I understand why you start at 6 but curious as to why you then continue somewhat based on firing order? Thanks
    • United E85 is always 85% ethanol. At least it claims to be. But that goes out of the window about thirty seconds after you put a tank of it into your car and can't do the math to determine if you have 76% ethanol, or 47% ethanol or 26% ethanol because you put 33L in, then 16L in, then a full tank of 98, then "Some" E85. Ethanol tunes that aren't full flex or full E85 all the time are just absolutely a waste of time. Don't be stupid and ruin your car.
