Will A Rb20 Go Straight Into R33?

Hi

Will a rb20det bolt straight into a 1993 r33 gtst

Ive damaged the bottom end of my rb25det and I have a rb20det spare and want to know if it will bolt into the r33

can i use the rb25det gearbox also will the rb25 engine mounts be allgood for the rb20?

also will i have to change the loom or just the ecu ?

basically just want to put it in until my rb25 is fixed

Honestly not worth the effort for a temporary solution. (or even a permanent one!)

As much as I love teh RB20 i imagine it would be really sluggish hauling a whale around.

the r32 isnt a phenomenal amount lighter than the r33, just clicking the 80-90kg's

toss another RB25 in it. easier and a lot less dicking around..

based on your idea:

RB25 ECU - wrong - car *MAY* start but certainly won't run.

box - yes - fits

mounts - yes.
