Meh....the reality is that the car must have fallen short of expectations Really not sure how a full tune can drag out for 2 years... so claims that the build was f1 spec, just musn't show on the dyn

This build has not finished, alot more to come and i will try to update it on here and facebook. currently waiting on motec for a revised Gpr package to run the Hi lo injection properly and also need

After a Painful and Pleasurable couple of hours reading the build, I'd have to say this is a work of art with craftmanship and care i haven't seen before.

Hope the best for your next stage :)

Rightio. I had the pleasure of going for a little squirt yesterday in the absolutely epic car. It wasn't a long drive, it was enough to get the feel for the OS88 in it. Absolutely sold. Definitely not as "agricultural" as what I would have imagined.

The first thing that struck me was how quiet and tame it is while idling. No "grump grump, lots of overlap, big cam crap" going on, just a smooth as factory idle. The noise that was coming out of the exhaust wasn't that much louder than a factory car also. Pulls well from down low but you can tell its just screaming to be wound up. 15 psi, its not even trying.

The level of detail is second to none, anyone that has looked over this car would attest to that.

Thanks again for your time Bob, you didn't have to do that. You have just spent $16,000 or so of my money. :P

Hi Bobby, enjoying the thread, tech goes over my head but all good.

Have you had the final tune yet, love to see the results and hope you get what you were after. Looks great :wub:

I am going for response and would be pissed if my build takes 3 months, buy the parts and have someone stuff it under the bonnet and hope for the best :yes: But nothing like the effort you have put into this car :woot:

You can sell it now and start all over again,haha :action-smiley-069:

Finally made the time to read every page of this thread thanks to G20 long weekend.

Bobby I am probably not alone in saying it would be really appreciated if you could close this build thread out with an update on how everything turned out.

Thats way it is available outside of your Facebook page and easier for people to search/find.

      Due to series of unfortunate events the 32 is currently my daily. Fuel economy and jungle gym aside it has not been too bad to drive around. That was until the ol' Varex decided that ~15 years and ~8 of those years on E85 was enough. The butterfly valve separated from the motors' shaft and managed to wedge/weld its self in the closed position. the varex when rapped sounded like there wasn't any packing left in it either. New Vibrant 3" muffler was selected to go in. While it is a shame to lose the quiet mode, the new Vibrant muffler definitely gives a more mellow/rounded tone which sounds great. To me it also sounds louder than the varex was open... so there is that. sorry neighbours

      Down shifting = Right gear, right RPM, right road speed! Try rev matching on the down shift

      Why would you ever need to "hard change down" from 5th to 4th? Any time you're in 5th and need serious accel, you're looking to go down to 3rd or maybe even 2nd, anyway. Just treat your 30 year old gearbox with some respect.

      Anyone else have a grinding issue changing from 5th to 4th gear. I have no issues 3rd to 4th and 4th to 5th. But the car seems to grind a little when I do 5th to 4th …    is this a common issue? Had it from the last owner. Bit annoying as I can’t hard shift down. Feels like I have to push a little to the left to get it smoother into gear.    thanks

      I would, especially if the car has had a few start ups or short trips to move it around  But then I'm anal as fark about oil changes, as oil is cheap, and servicing is fun.....
